    Anybody any infomation on taking off the fuel injector pump for overhall.

    Vince has just done mine and it sounded a bit more involved than I originally thought! Perhaps he will stop by and let you know a little more..

      That would be great mine has to come off but it looks a lot more compley than I thought

        Its pretty easy, remove all the fuel lines and plugs, remove cambelt and pump pully and nut, then unbolt pump body and it slide out backwards.

        It's on a taper with a key, so often needs a hub puller to push shaft through inner gears and out the back.

        Don't hit the end of the shaft to get it out.

        It's pretty obvious when you get going.

          Thank you for that sounds easy then just the pump to overhall. Been running on veg oil with the two tank system done over 80000 on (170000 on truck)veg oil lots pulling 1.8 tonne caravan. Injection pump back pressure to filter so think it needs attention

                  I cleaned mine before replacing the pump. It's pictured in this post here

                  Hope it's some thing more simple than the pump for you. Read the rest of my thread to see what I tried
