3rd Gen recalls

I can't find much on here about 3rd Gen recalls.

I spoke to Toyota customer services a few weeks ago asking them about any recalls that may be outstanding on my vehicle. I had the standard "we'll contact Japan" response and that was that. This weekend I had a letter saying the local dealership will be getting in touch about "receiving the technical instructions in order to carry out the modification to your vehicle".

There is no mention of what the modification is. Anyone know what the possible recalls are on a 3rd gen? I am assuming something must be outstanding on mine.

Maybe the heating element in the GHD's.

Its probably a rubber bung over an unused coolant outlet on the block that can look a bit perished sometimes. Its the only thing that ever crops up, its no big deal.

aw, damn... I thought the engine may need replacing with a V8... All I get is a poxy rubber bung..!

Well I hope they clean it. That'll be worth it. Oh and a laugh at the prices they may offer for the 'advisories' that I'm sure they will find
