New owner service questions.

I've now got my new Surf it's a 3.0 3rd GEN, I want to replace the timing belt but is it worth doing the pulleys as well? and what make or supplier should I use. Do I need to pin the pulleys or can I just turn it over till the pointers line up? What's the best oil & filters to use?
Anything else worth looking out for that is specific to these motors?
