Alarm price?

I got a quote for the removal of my old cat1 jap alarm and to fit a Toad Ai606
it was £280 all in,is that a good price??? or should i shop around abit more

I got my old cobra alarm removed and a new gemini cat1 fitted for £200 plus vat.

i thought £280 was not to bad, is the toad more money to buy than the gemini ? is the toad a better alarm ? i`m only going for toad cos thats what he quoted. Should i get a gemini?.I did read on here someone had a viper and said they are good i`ve never heard of them.

Again purely personally, if I were getting a Cat1 immobiliser, I'd get a Toad. £200+VAT is only £40 away from what you've been quoted, so IMHO, it's close enough not to bother about.

280 is about the going rate to remove the old and fit the new.
