black smoke

hi,had a little black smoke this aft,was when reversing up the drive,so the missus said,so i had her in and told her to rev it hard a few times ,sure enough black smoke,not shed loads.just kinda little bursts when revved.change oil and filters every 3000 miles.though not flushed when changed,plan on this time.never cleaned injecters,so wondered if this is it.any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated thanks

You do get a degree of black smoke with any diesel, sounds normal to me.
