  • ATF leak

    Hi,

My 94 auto has developed a leak of ATF in the pipes between the gearbox and the radiator. I have tried to source replacement pipes and joins from Toyota (The usual suppliers don't carry these) but this is taking a long time. While the leak is small I'd like to get it fixed.

My question is: is there an ATF cooler kit that would mean I could replace or bypass the existing pipes?

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks, Keith

If it's the rubber hoses which are leaking that connect onto the radiator, then just buy a metre length of 10mm fuel hose and some Jubilee clips to replace them.

Type Fluidyne or Mocal into the search box for stand alone ATF cooler threads.

Thanks, Bushwacker. I've not been able to figure out exactly where the leak is, but I guess it's more likely to be rubber than metal that's causing it. Will give this a shot.
