3.0 exhaust

today's the day i hand over my cash for a P reg 3.0 ssr-x surf - my usual mechanic has just had a look for me and given me the green light to buy it, one thing he mentioned was a new back box for the exhaust would soon be needed, any of you guy's know what sort of money i'm looking at for this & are they easily avaliable ( i.e. kwik fit ) ?

I think this is the actual 'box'. Too hot to start getting under the truck to see where the joints on the exhaust are!
