  • Idler pulley removal?

picked up a new tensioner and idler pulley from millners good value, for OEM tensioner, is a little shorter and lighter but the holes line up fine, and no leak from the plunger!!

I wanted to ask what to use to undo the old idler which is still in the truck, I assumed it was a 10mm hex bit, I got one and it aint fitting

    anyone ?

You were right with the 10mm hex bit/Allen key, sounds like someone has put something else in.

I wouldn't like to say mate, you can try but don't force anything or you could make it worse.

Have you tried to clear the hole out with a pin or something, could just be shitted up?
