  • Rear axle oil seals

I am wondering if i'm going to be lucky with this, I had a wet rear drum on the n/s and o/s/r it turned out to be gear oil now i checked the axle breather, It was blocked solid, i have cleaned it and checked both rear bearings for movement and there is none so, could i be lucky and the seals are ok or not and have to do them???

My breather wasn't blocked & I had to replace both sides on mine, that was 3 years ago & I've never had a problem since.

As lee says you might be lucky though.
If its not broke don't fix it.
