Just do one side at a time. Remove both brake drums (wheels off, slacken off handbrake and hit the drum with a hammer) Then strip one side out, while the other is still assembled for reference.......

thanks guys for the help got it all done ok. not as hard as i thought it would be anyway.

still got the anoying noise but i think i will have to just live with it
