  • Problem Electrics

Hi guys, I have a problem with the rear o/s tail light. I'm not too up on things electric. What started as an intermittant fault has now developed into total loss!!! tried new bulbs, tested for power got 12 v, tested earth all ok. brake light works ok. looking at wiring ; am I right in thinking white/black earth, green tail, green/white brake? can't see any breaks in wires. they all go into a connector block and I'm assuming it then splits to rear l/h side. The left side all works fine and everything on the right just this feckin' tail light !!! help any suggestions

Any corrosion in the tail light holder preventing contact with the bulb's terminals?

I know you said you have 12v at the light, but check the fuse in the block down by the throttle pedal, it should say tail lights on the sticker. I can't remember if there's two seperate fuses without going into the garage and having a look.
I doubt it's the wiring if the rest of the lights in that cluster are working.
