Was trying to check for oil types and quantities for servicing and came across this which states every 10000 kilometres for engine oil change. Also states at2 for power steering, why the difference. Also anyone found a good volume bucket at a reasonable price ?

B&Q orange builders bucket, fits perfectly under a truck on 33's for draining oil, around £2.

A volume bucket is what you use to pump oil back in to your axle or gearbox, take it you were pulling my leg with that £2 bucket suggestion ?

Do you mean identifying if you have an LSD?? Or what type of oil??

If you don't know if you have LSD, lift the back of the truck off the ground and spin one of the wheels, look through to see if the opposite wheel spins in the same direction (engine off, no handbrake). If it does, it's LSD,if it spins in opposite direction, it's a standard diff. You'll get the oil from Halfords or any car spares place.

3rd gen axle codes end in C if there is a LSD fitted.

              Change oil every 5k km.

                trans/axle R151F AO2A

so therefore no LSD then which means 80-90 gear oil for axles and 90 gear oil for manual gearbox and transfer box is that right ?

                And cheers for the info
