  • 3lt td wont run once started stoped?

    rebuilt 3lt td new pistons ,rings ,shells ,put back in primed started easy !!

    but when started disengaged it stops
    any ideas please!!!!!

          Engine turns over fires up then when let go of key
          It stops
          Need help I think it's crank sensor but need second opion or third
          Need truck running for sunday

            Have you tried the diagnostic codes?

            Otherwise something could be wired wrong so that ECU isn't getting 12v with key in ign position.

              I'll check into the codes not sure how to do that yet but will do a search on here thanks for help

                Could be a fuel pump sensor.
                Or bad earth, check the one at back of engine just below block deck.
