    Firstly thank to here for making it easier.

    Quite annoying to have paid €72/£60 when it's just the one contact on the battery side, my plunger was good with a little wire wool it would have been new and all the other crap Toyota give you is next to useless to change.

    The rest of the starter was very good, brushes etc.

    Pain to ease up and out upwards, removed my rubber splash protection and mudflap to ease the bolting up.

    Good work and at least now you have the contact from the kit that did not need replacing for the next time! I don't suppose you took any pictures of the process?

      Me 17mm bolt at the top, 17mm nut bottom, 17mm electric, one plug to unplug and two bolts to move the fuel filter system.

      Mine was on 200,000km, so 150000km's/100000miles would seem right preventative period.
