4runner - hilux compability

I have to buy some front end parts, including steering column and rack, does the 4runner and hilux have the same parts?

They are the same truck basically, but I guess most 3rd Gen 4Runners you'll see are going to be left hand drive and petrol US trucks. so obviously rack will be no good, but column 'should' be the same.
