    was in good old wilkinsons last week and noticed they did yellow bottle of coolant. i had a quick look at the stuff and it was compatable with any colour coolant.....

    It's not compatible with red, nothing is. Red is the Maverick of the anti-freeze world. It's a loner and doesn't mix well with anything, bar its friend water; once those two get together, they're almost inseparable.

      Toyota's Red coolant goes yellow if you have exhaust gasses in the coolant, sure it isn't used Genuine coolant?....

              Reason I asked is because a friend of mine with an LN130 recently replaced his coolant with some stuff he got from the Internet which was colourless & he was mixing it with the green stuff but so far it's been fine. I know some members have used halfords own brands but as "ALBANNACH" said don't add anything to red accept red.

              I just didn't want JGS600 to add yellow to red & frig his cooling system up.
              If its not broke don't fix it.

                thats ok mine is green with a bit of blue, just thought i would put the posting up about the yellow stuff as i havent seen it before and i might be mistaken but im sure the bottle stated it could be used with any colour coolant.
