Alternator needed

Hi,

My 3.0L surf's (L reg) alternator is not charging the batteries any more.

I need any help and advice from you guys on whether it is cheaper to replace it with the second-hand one or it is better to get it reconditioned.

If you have a second hand one please let me know.
