Wasn't sure if this should go in electrical or mechanical post, but here goes.
Today I have greased the moving parts on the sun roof and tailgate, which are now opening/closing much more quickly and quietly. The rear passenger windows have had the same treatment, but the nearside seems to strain badly when halfway up or down, the motor slowing to about half speed. The window seems to be in square but compared to the o/s one is much slower.
    Any ideas?
    It's only a hobby!

    Phil.

Go to Halfords (I will wash my mouth out with bleach) and get some rubber seal lubricant - comes in an aerosol. Spray inside the channel with it and let the window up and down a few times. It's probably a dirty seal.

    Cheers

DITTO, but also clean out as much of the tracks as you can, with a cotton wool bud, (or a rag wrapped round a knife, lol.) You'll be surprised how much dirt comes out.
