Did the sparks give you any hints on tracking this sort of issue in the future? I am curious if they just Ohm'd out one side of the harness to the other. Wonder what the correct wire resistance is? That would be a painfully slow process, but should work. I have to break out the meter and start poking mine, I guess.

No not really, between the info Tony gave me and them doing tests on all the wires they finally sussed it.

I just read through this thread again and remined me of all the head scratching I did (and others too) to get it running again.

If TonyN was for sale you couldn't afford him.
