Shocks..

Going to be replacing rear, then front shortly. Only seems to be the Roughtrax or Milners options.
I get a very good discount at the local motor factors, but they can't find a listing in their Monroe catalogues for the Surf... does anybody have the exact Monroe part numbers ? The US online Monroe catalogue lists the 4Runner, but only shows Sensa Trac (71352 & 37157, F & R respectively)or Monroe-Matic (a standard replacement, 801352 & 32334 F & R respectively), the EU site lists a rear shock Adventure D7642, but no front ones.
Also, are there any other alternatives, and what are folks' experiences ?

Procomp used to be the de-facto replacement but getting hold of them seems to be difficult these days since Explorer UK (UK distributor) went tits up. There is a new UK distibutor who's name escapes me right now, but if you get a copy of TOR, they advertise in there.

TJM do decent shocks for the Surf too. I've had both. Procomp cheap and cheerful but work. TJM better quality and also work. Others who do Surf fitment include OME and Rancho.

I have munro 4x4 adventure on the 3rd gen got them from R/T 8 weeks ago.
Call Barry @ R/T he will give part numbers.

For the pennies in it, the availability,and the uncertainty on correct fitment from the factor, I'll probably just go to R/T, they really are a decent bunch !
And, since he told me that the +2" springs will be back in stock shortly, I may just hold off and go for the +2" kit.
