Easy answer!

Having a couple of probs at the moment the truck is squealing when turning the wheels left or right but fine going straight, it has been suggested that it might be the wishbone.......expensive fix?

check the ps fluid Rob and also check the belt tension as thats the probable cause

LOL, check the level, and the pump for leaks, they make an odd whiney noise when oil level is low, or if bleeding after doing any work on steering hydraulics

Have you checked to see if you have a cat stuck in the steering mechanism?
just wait a few days and if the squeal is replaced by the smell of rotten meal it was a cat...

your right they don't do they.how long did i have a 3.0 for,but saying that i neglected it so probably forgot what it looked like under the bonnet..
