  • Oil in Turbo ?

Took the head off my 3ltr as its cracked, Im not a machanic and admit to knowing nothing about these engines. I had a look at the turbo there are no leaks but I can see oil inside the turbo middle port the exhaust side is dry only carbon deposit the air intake is dry is this normal to have oil in the middle port?

you mean the compressor housing? yes there will be a small amount of oil in there as the air intake is connected with the engine breather so a small amount of oil will bypass into this chamber.
