I am just purchasing a 3.0 SSRX. It is described as a 1994 model and is on a L plate. It has the vin number KZN130 -9033750. Can I find out from this the date of manufacture, engine type etc ? Many thanks

quickest way to check year of manufacture on any Jap import is to check for a tag on the seat belt, usually where end of lap portion attaches to floor. This will have the date of manufacture on it (month and year are show if I remember correctly)

Useful link, thanks. Put mine in, stirred, and came out as Dec 93, so it's probably technically a 94 model as it probably wasn't first sold until early 94.

Hello my surf is a 95 model on the log book, but came out as Dec 94,
