  • Surf insurance!!!

    Hi.
I am looking for insurance and someone said that they got a good quote from Southern Direct. Anyone got the number for them so I can give them a try? I find that although my Surf is a 3.0 Diesel Auto it often comes up as a 2.5 petrol manual. Anyone else have that problem?

Have you tried Flux for a quote, they where less than half the price of anything swinton could quote me, just mention you in an owners club etc.

I just got a quote from Sureterm Direct at £100 less than Adrian Flux.
        29 Years old,
        4 Years Driving,
        2.4L LN130
0 no claims (the policy does not accrue any),
        £200 excess,
Roof rack, 6 spots, Alloys, 33" Tires, 'A' bar, 2" Body + 2" suspension lift all declared,
Parked in private car park (pub behind my house),
European roadside and relay breakdown cover,
        Platinum legal cover,
+ the wife who's 30 years old but only been driving 18 months.
        All for £385.

Probably sounds a lot to some of the more seasoned drivers on here but it's £150 less than last year and that was on a stock vehicle!

        Thanks,

        Ray.
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!

Thanks for the replies. Shopped around and got some silly quotes. In the end, Churchill(my original insurers) came up with £239.40 which was nice(as they say), so I stayed with them.
