cylinder head

help
just got a replacement cylinder head , what fits in the rear of the head 1/2 circle?
the new head is the same as the new , but i dont remember anything that was in the 1/2 circle, just thoought the rocker cover gasket had a 1/2 circle ,, but it dosent, so either ive dropped whatever has come out or is still in the old head ,, which i havent got as it was exchange!!
where can i get the seal ??

is it just a rubber seal? ,, thing is i dont ever remember seeing it! , i might has just dropped it and its sitting on top of the bell housing , but now the new heads on i cant see it ,,,

this bit is a half moon alloy bit.You haven't bolted the head down yet have you

yes ,, but it wernt there,, i checked and double checked as its have piston/valve contact ,, will ave a look tom.. must be sitting somewhere

i may have that bit on one of the old heads i got here.

ive had a look ,, aint there,, the bloke who had it before me has had the cover off , so may have been lost then

ill have one of you if you have one,, let me know how to pay etc
