rear brake bias valve

My rear brake bias valve that sits under the truck and has a rod connecting it to the axle has seized

How easy is it to change?
do i need to change it or is it likly to be servicable ie strip and clean?or is it a new part?
it looks like the valve part unscrews from the bottom of the main body of the valve? thus very easy to change and then just bleed?do i need to bleed to the brakes or just the valve?

Never taken one apart but I would think it can be stripped/cleaned and rebuilt, just make sure you don't damage any seals.
You will need to bleed your brakes, not just the LSV (load sensing valve) as air could be trapped in front of and behind valve after taking it off and putting it back on.

Personally I'd stump up the ~£100 and fit a new one. If moneys really, really tight I'd get one off a breaker.
