  • I've got 2!?

More info needed from a New Boy, I've noticed that I have two Batteries, why?

Also my front tyres look like they are starting to wear on the inner edges, can anyone tell me what the Toe in/out angle should be (is it castor angle?) or is it just the tracking that needs looking at?

    bought a Handbook from http://www.car-handbooks.com/
which is great but doesn't mention the above, sorry if my questions seem Brainless but the Wife is using it at the moment.

any help or advice greatly appreciated.

You get two batteries cos you got the Winter Pack option - should also have a rear heater as well. Basically it allows Toyota to specify smaller cheaper batteries and still have enough go to start a Diesel engine in cold weather. The combined power of the two batterise in parallel is over 700CCA.

With regards to the tyres it is probably worn idler arm bushes, these can be replaced in about 1 hour and cost £1.50 each and there are two. Not sure what the correct toe in is but it will be the same as a UK 4Runner so your local tyre place will be able to sort it out.

    Cheers

As tony says, just don't downgrade them. If they fit then go as powerfull as you can, Couple of 1200CCA Red top Optimas or exide Maximas and you can drive it on the starter just in case of a fuel shortage.

          Cheers
