tail gate window not working

hi there

i tried to open my boot this morning but my window wouldnt move at all. i even tried the inside switch to open window but still didnt work however, i did hear clicking noises when i was operating both key and interior switch. is there any other way to open boot?

Have you checked to make sure the rear wiper is sat proper in the seat as this will prevent the window from working and also you haven't pressed the window lock button by mistake on the drivers door consol

i did check all this and everything was as is however, when i read more posts regarding this it said make sure your rear wiper was parked properly and although i did this when i used the controls it still didnt work!

what i did do was physically move the rear wiper arm up and down and VIOLA! its working again rofl!

if im using my rear window wiper is there a sensor that stops it from opening when its not parked properly?

is your email address working yet richard? cos im still needing a bash plate!

Hiya.yep its working ok at the min.I have got a bashplate on the breaker here and a decent one already off of another truck
There is some form of sensor thing there but i'm not sure if its on the wiper mech its self or the arm
