Will 3nd Gen ECU fit a 2nd Gen

I have the dreaded overdrive problem on my 3.0TD 2nd Gen KZN130. I have the opportunity to buy a ECU from a KZN185. Will this work? Are there side effects? Is it unkown territory?

Don't think so but some one will be along to advise or sell you one in a while.
Think stormforce said he had one the other day.....
If not there is always the ecu doctor (google him)

The 2nd gen ecu i sold will be returned early in the week as its not compatible with the 3rd gen.If your interested in this 2nd gen 3.0l ecu let me know
