  • no torsion bars on my gen 3

    hey guys.. well just put on my tyres and had a chat to the machanic.. he took a look a recones I dont have torsion bars... is this commmon?

      ...3rd gen is ifs - coil sprung....no torsion bars.....welcome to a modern vehicle.

              Modern cars can have Torsion Bars too.

              I sense some disdain here, Torsion bar envy? Or did you lot want them changed for coil springs because springs look a bit like hair rollers?

                      hang on - that's not right.

                      my 3rd gen has IFS & a set of torsion bars

                      hold on, does it matter that the torsion bars are in the boot and are for a mate with a 2nd gen
