cant remember exactly what was written but the vin plate in the engine bay is the way to tell, something about a certain code number ending in 4 or 5. try a search its bound to come up. H

"G294 is the axle code, the other bit is the transmission type or something.

Broken down it means

G = 8.0"

29 = 4.1 ratio

4 = 4 pinion" -Nero 279
so it's a open diff?
