Having read on the forum that the surf 3.0ltr diesel head, cracked due to a manufacturing defect / design fault, can anybody tell me if on fitting a new head from say roughtrax 4x4, that a new head does not have the same faults.
As you all know this is an expensive part to replace especially if, in a years time you have the same problem.

Original 2.4 heads have a design fault. 3.0s don't have the same problem but, at 15 years old, some are understandably beginning to go. A new one should last at least as long.

Best bought from Stevo if you want to do the job properly http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/members_p...evo/index.html
