    Hello Folks,

Looking for some help with my trip odometer. Back in the snow and cold temps I went to reset it after a fill up and the button seemed to jam. I tried to coax it in but it went 'crunch' and everything became very 'loose'. It hasn't worked since and it's annoyed me because although very minor I love my surf and the rest of it is close to immaculate.

Does anyone know if I can put this right and how, or does it need a new instrutment panel?

I'd be really grateful for some help please.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Ed

I don't think you will be able to repair the trip as when mine went i stripped it down and it was knackered
    i've got a instrument panel from a 1995 3.0l 2nd gen for £35 delivered.
I thought the 3rd gens started in 1996

Thanks Stormforce, as I understand it the US 'car years' start at a different time to ours so mine is a 3rd Gen but classed as a '95.
Thanks for your thoughts, I thought that might have been the case. Might as well just leave it as it's not critical. Ho hum...
