  • Overheating!! Help!!

Pete's Surf has recently started overheating quite badly (right up into the red). It happened the 1st time on Dec 24th, but for about 4wks before that we heard a bubbling sound coming from the dashboard, but the temp gauge showed normal. Now it will overheat really quickly and it makes a really horrible whistling sound, and the air coming out of the heaters will be cold, but then it will change to hot and the temperature gauge will go down again.

    What to do??

it may simply be an airlock, bleed the system, and see what happens.

Can anyone remark on what the solution was to this as it's exactly the same as my current situation...

Sounds like a cracked head. If yours is doing this then I would get a sniff test done. Is it over pressurising?
