Don't think there is, certainly not on a 2nd gen Surf. But, now that I've said that, there'll be a whole forum membership dedicated to proving me wrong. So hang around, you'll get a positive reply soon...

If you wanted a quick reply, why have you logged off?

You asked a question about rear foglights the other day and no word of thanks or otherwise.

got the replies i needed and logged off. work all day, up early and dont have the perk of internet at work. big thanks to you guys who help resovle all the issues i have recently had and i am still having RE: the MOT. your knowledge saves me time and money and is greatly welcommed so again a BIG THANKS but if anyone has any personal issues regarding me or anyone else pm me/them dont waste space leaving usless thread, only reason is that some people are busy and get prompted to responses through email which indicates usually valued response to the thread that has been started.

            cheers

Just to carry on from that point, how is anyone other than your respondents supposed to know that? If anyone finds the need to start a public thread in any forum, (not just this one), all responses and replies should be posted within that thread. Conversing further in private benefits no-one for future reference, especially if some useful info is contained within one of those private responses. Don't do it.

Secondly, can you please stop using the italic & bold text. It is obviously not for your benefit with poor eyesight or such, as the italics would negate any benefit of larger text. It is damned painful to read for some of us, thankyou very much.

yeah it is never really noticed RE:italics, OK this forum has seemed to changed a little since i was last on regular. No worries ,one of the forums i have been on in the past keeps banter etc in one section and serious items in the relevent sections . It just helps when people have issues to discuss. Thats the point I was trying to make but hey im the newbie here and dont want to rock the boat its nicer when we are all freinds

No problems Andy, newbie mistakes, no harm done.

I did however notice that in your earlier post you mentioned that the replies to your questions have saved you time and money. Hows about becoming a subscribed member of this forum with some of that cash you saved.

Theres a sticky thread on the main page as how to do that.

The forum costs money to run and this is how we help to support that cost. Which by the way is far greater than is collected by subscriptions.

That way, the forum can continue to help you and others in the future.

Thanks for subscribing, I know you'll make the right choice.

This may get shot down in flames, but doesn't the two screws at the top of the light fitting adjust the beam? Or did I dream this?

No, they do adjust the beam. But they're not a 'Switch' as in the OP's question.

I thought those merely adjusted the height and such?

The hight and direction of the beam.
