  • 3rd Gen Heater Fan Ticking

My climit control fan is basicly ticking when running it is laud enough to be on par with the chinese water torture, even my kids complain about the noise.

Does anyone know how I get to it and if there are any known issues where perahps it catches the cowling??

    Ta in advance,

    Gary.

Hopefuly not too stupid a suggestion, but on a previous car (VW) it made an awful racket - pulled it apart and found a dried leaf had worked it's way in there...

I have a 2nd Gen, so it might not be too much help, but if nobody responds this eve I'll have a look in my repair manual and see if there's anything useful.

          Cheers,

Must admit that the heater on my Smurf ticks, but only on the lowest setting. Annoyingly, it's the same on the wifes Citroen too. What she does is turn the blower on to full blast, then back to the lowest setting and all is fine again!
