1KZ-TE Engine Number

Hi Everybody,
I need to know where to find the engine number on my 3.0 1KZ-TE 2nd gen. I've just sold it but have realised I never changed the number on the V5 when the new engine was fitted a couple of years back. May as well do it now when the paperwork goes to swansea.

TVM for all the help, I found it. After all that on the V5 where it says engine number it says "Not Known" so I needn't have bothered. Anyway when the truck goes this weekend it will be the end of my Surfing days, so I'd like to say thanks for all the help and useful info from the forum, and I can only hope they'll be as friendly and accommodating when I get to the Mercedes forum (Surf replaced by E220 Cabrio - nice!)
