    My Surf Just Had A £400 Service New Brakes Discs And Rear Shoes And Cylinders,new Rear Seals And Rear Wheel Bearings, Ball Joints Etc For The Last Month My Rear Hubs Got Very Hot After A 1 Hour Drive,readjusted My Shoes No Play On Rear Hub No Binding Nice Easy Free Play After A Drive Get Warm Again? Any Ideas?????

      Turned The Adjusters Until Drum Was Slightly Tight To Fit On.the Brakes Are Spot On, No Imbalance Great Handbrake No Binding?

        Could it just be the coating on the new brakes burning off?!

        After mine were changed they smelt horrible for a good few days an im guessing were pretty hot!! Didn't touch them!

        A mix of them all just breaking in and any brake cleaner being burned off might be causing the problems.

          Adjust the new shoes so that the drum spins freely, then pull on the hand brake a few times to adjust them correctly.
