  • Leaking rear axel

My Surf is due an mot and for a month or two i have had oil on one ofthe inside rear wheels. I replaced the brake slave cylinder hoping it would sort it but unfortunately not. I suspect it is the axel leaking lube. Does anyone know if this is easy sorted at home or am i looking at a hefty bill? Many thanks.

Sounds like the oil seal has gone. Nothing major.
Took mine to the garage to be done "SURF SPECIALEST" cost me £60 parts & labour.
If its not broke don't fix it.

Beware another member lost his brakes when a rear bearing / seal went and the oil leaked into the brake. Get it sorted sharpish!
