Any other type of exhausts??

Hey all

Discovered part of my exhaust was missing over the weekend, so went for a quote today and got offered £350 from KwikFit for the middle and rear sections!

Was just wondering if you definitely need a exhaust for the 3.0TD or would one from a normal Hilux or even 4Runner fit it??

If not, I've seen Rough trax list the parts, is there anywhere else?

£350 is insane!! DO NOT get one from there.

You could get a complete Stainless one made up for that kind of figure.

Cheers for that, just ordered from them and will get it fit locally.

Only thing is they sell the same tail pipe for the Auto and manual, Rough Trax list a different one for auto which is the same as I have now. Milner same the manual one will be fine on my auto, does that sound ok?

At £140 delivered the bill is an aweful lot better

There was something mentioned about the difference in auto/manual exhausts but i think it boiled down to back pressure which i think isn't important on a turbo engine...


so it should be fine!

pity i missed the start of this thread else you could of had a complete exhaust for £100 plus postage.From the flexi pipe to the tail pipe is all nearly new aswell.
