  • reversing bell comin on with indicator?

    hello,

    just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this, hasnt done it before today, but when using the left hand indicator a bell that sounds like the reversing bell sounds?

    have been through a few puddles today

    Have you got a tow bar? Try spraying some WD40 in the socket for the towbar electrics
    it's in me shed, mate.

      Yep sounds like a short in the towbar socket, but sorry Chillit, dont spray WD40 in the socket it helps keep the crud in the socket and create shorts.
      Best bet is to try and dry it out.

        i do have tow bar electrics, and as ill prob never use them, ill try and dry them out, then seal the with some silicone

          Sucking

          With any sucking sound from Turbo motors under acceleration the first thing I'd check is the hoses to the turbo / air filter / engine.

          Learnt that lesson after stripping my head down and forgetting to tighten up the clamp on the turbo properly!

            Thats good advice... But I'd check the towbar electrics first....

                  ha ha dont worry, it was my other post, but i will check all the turbo pipes, in fact ive found one with a clip undone and oil sprayed up the main pipe, could be that!!
