Windscreen for KZ185 1998 Gen3

    Windscreen for KZ185 1998 Gen3

    I have had RAC twice to fit a screen to my 1998 KZN185 and today they took the cracked but usable screen out and found the new one would not fit.
    I got a number before from someone but it seems to be for a younger 1995 model as this number was the same as the one the RAC had but it would not fit.
    I now have a non usable Surf.
    Can anyone help with numbers for my 1998 surf PLEEEEAAAAASSSEEEE

    toyota part no for the glass is most likely 56111-35150,

    but could possibly be 56111-35100 or 56111-35160 depending on the tint.

      the number i gave was for autoglass not he rac, all 3rd gens are the same shape. I would go to auto glass they had no problem finding and fitting mine. The rac might have different codes.

          Surf Gen 3 1998 Windscreen

          My Surf now has a nice new windscreen fitted.
          RAC pulled the finger out and had one driven up from the south and fitted it today.
          On the screen there is the followind numbers for future ref.

          Toyota
          Lamisafe
          LP ASAHI
          M394 ASI
          Dot 20
          E6 (in a circle)
          and lastly 43 R 006261

          All this was etched in to the nearside (pass side)

            Hi there. Just thought I'd share my experience of trying to get a new windscreen for my 3rdgen surf.

            Autoglass ordered the 93-96 Surf model, as it is all they have on their system and quoted, wait for it, £641.00!

            I called my local Toyota dealer, gave them my model and frame numbers (on the bulkhead) and they got me one for £121.06+VAT. OEM. That was one of two currently in the country in stock from Toyota.

            Part number, windscreen 5611135100, rubber 7553335030

            Hope that helps if anybody else finds him/herself in a bind.

              Autoglass - No problems with KZN185 screen

              Autoglass sourced my replacement screen within 24 hours.
              All they needed to know was if it has a bronze tint or a grey tint
