so my electric aerial has bent on my 3rd gen surf.

I have a read though all the posts and i want to get myself a rubber one, My question is: where can i get one that fits straight onto my 3rd gen i've had a look on roughtrax and could only see the electric one ?

if you ar elooking at one of the old type 9about 8" long, you can gat them at any parts place (Halfords, Motor world etc.) cost about a tenner.

If you are looking for something a bit more modern, a bit like the current VW Passat ones, they are available but cost roughtly the price of a kidney. The hole is roughtly the same size so either will physically fit.

Whichever way you go, you will still have t otake out the old one which means removal of the iner arch liner and some threading of the cable into the back of the stereo.
