  • 3rd Gen Exhaust Centre box question.

A query for the forum gurus - my centre box is falling apart!

    1. Can I replace this with a length of pipe in the correct size, and will this make any difference to running?

    2. If so, does anyone know of any tubing suppliers in the SE? (NW Kent, SE London area).

    D'Oh!

Just answered my own question - there is no rear box at all, so I don't think removing the only silencer box would do much for the noise...

    This looks expensive

Edit: £350 expensive... Parts from Roughtrax £300-ish to the door (rear pipe as well, as it looks fairly knackered).

Powerflow quote £350 all in, so it's off to Bromley to get it done

      Afternoon all

Get a middle box from Milners - exhausts are on offer with them at the moment - don't pay attention to the website just give 'em a ring.

        Evening all...

Now poorer by £350, and richer by one stainless exhaust, with side-exit tailpipe.
Original tailpipe was rotting through above the axle.

Yes, it was at RSR in Hastings Road.

Forgot to take piccies when it was up on the lift, although I did take the opportunity to borrow a grease gun and lubricate the cardan joints
