Hi, I have the same problem that has just started. When I get to about 2000rpm or just over the engine check comes on and restricts power. I've checked the fuel filter and run diesel magic through. But still no difference. The best I can do is about 55 - 60mph at the moment. I checked the fault codes and I get a code 32. This is Airflow meter signal. But there's no airflow meter on a diesel is there? I have a 3.0 04 Surf KZN130. Would be interested in what you found to be the problem. I'm pulling my hair out here!
Cheers for any help anyone can give.

Si1969 where abouts in hampshire are you?

It says in your details you have a monster surf.

If the speedo isn't calibrated for the new bigger tyres then expect your top speed to be miles off!! Might explain why you can only do 55-60!

Hi, thanks for the comments guys. The speedo was working fine for the last year (cal'd for the tyre size, yes). But recently there has been a loss of power when the engine check comes on. Not checked the vac pipe on the turbo yet and that sort of area.

Cheers Wiggy, yes, I did check the air sensor on the air filter box (air temp sensor). That's not the cause.

Yep, already done that. It's not the air temp sensor. Still got the same fault code up plus the temp sensor when I did that.
                Thanks
