when startingmy 3.0, even from stone, cold the preheater lamp stays lit for less than a second but the truck starts after 3ish seconds cranking (more likely due to the 40% veg) and is totally smoke free, am I worrying about nothing?

the preheat light on mine hardly comes on ever,even this morning,-5deg c, light on for a nano second and started first turn with a bit of smoke.

I think it does, if yours does the same I be re-assured

Ignore the LIGHT as you need to listen for the RELAY to CLICK 1st then start you'll see a big difference.

If you wait 10 seconds or so, then a beep comes from the dash area, its should jump to life. Nothing to worry about though squire, mine sometimes takes less than 1 turn, other times takes 6 turns.
