I've got a 96 2nd gen 3 ltr TD and it is giving me problems which I think may be electrical. Whilst in drive the Auto gearbox shifts around from low to high gear with an increase in revs. Seems to be ok in 1st & 2nd. It's intermittent too. Sometimes I get in and it's fine and other times it plays up like hell. So you have to nurse it home slowly with high revs.
