did the oil change today, i let every drop of oil run out of the sump and the car was parked on level ground but when i filled it back up i only managed to get exactly 6L of engine oil back in and now it is exactly at the full mark on the dipstick and the oil filter is full.
so does anybody know why ive only managed to get in 6L when i should of got in 7.5L ?

you should only get 6 to 6.5l of oil in after a filter and oil change anyway so yours should be ok

Did you renew the filter as well?

Go for a drive and re-check the level after.

yep i put a new filter on, put 6ltrs of new oil in the engine, started the engine and let it run for 5 mins, turned it off and waited 5 more mins, checked the dipstick twice and it was about 1mm off the top of the max mark.
