  • Front and rear propshafts needed

    Hello all nd merry Christmas.

I need a couple of props so i can illiminate a nasty vibration on the Surf,

I believe the 2.4 and 3.0 are all the same length so if anyone is breaking a Surf or has a spare they want rid of then get in touch with me(cash waiting) Tel 07930379698 or thru this site.

    Cheers
    Paul

If this was in general i'd come up with some attempt at a witty comment that a torch may provide better illumination than a propshaft, but it's not, so i won't .....

....So anyone got a pair of proshafts for Paul?

              silly question time (yeah again)

Sure you need shafts, and not just UJs ?

                Hi people

Sorry for the spelling mistake, but i was in a hurry.

It probably is the UJ's but for ease and ILLIMINATION purposes i will just swap the props and then see about the UJ's.

Have now located both props from a guy in Crystal Palace and will pick them up 2morrow(27th)

Hopefully this will sort the problem
                Thanks for your humourous replies

                Cheers

check your engine and gearbox rubber mounts for signs of cracks too as damaged mounts will also cause vibration .

Have now changed my rear prop and the problem is sorted.

Have bought a 2.4 SSRX to break so used the prop from it. Only snag is that the prop on the 2.4 is about an inch longer than the 3.0 but you can mix and match as the splines are the same so that's what i did.

If anyone needs any parts then call me on 07930379698 but hurry, they're going quick

                    Cheers
