Just replace it with some correct diameter metal duct hose! Its cheap and airtight and looks shiny

Hi there, Mine recently cracked and managed to find a cheap option. Local exhaust specialist flared out a 65 mm (2 1/2 inch I think?) exhaust pipe, length of flare was enough to join two halves of inlet pipe. Now cut thru crack and rejoined using short piece of exhaust tubing and two clamps. Pipe was flared from 65mm to 70mm for a perfect fit for the two halves to slide on neatly with help from a smear of grease.Probably being done before but worked for me.

Require: Sharp Knife (cut thru cracked rubber hose)
70 mm outside diameter exh tube 2" long
2 x Hose clamps to fit over the cracked hose
